There's a peaceful kind of storytelling for rural scenes like this. The winding path,warm sky and simple homes create a feeling of a quiet evening that I really enjoy bringing to life in my paintings.

 I love how the grasses and water add movement while the houses keep everything grounded. It feels like a place where time slows down.
